Camp Host/Day Use Attendant
We provide full hookups, use of a landline, and WiFi (limited) – at no cost! On top of that, we pay $14 hourly (per individual employee), plus a discretionary bonus, and we offer benefits to all full-time employees after 60 days of employment; benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance. We seek hardworking, honest, friendly employees available immediately for full-time employment as a Camp Host or Day Use Attendant. We are hiring for multiple locations throughout the Los Padres National Forest. Each position is specifically for two individuals who share a living space. The position requires two employees to live on-site, and we have one staff living space/RV site available; you must bring your own RV.
Day Use Attendant
The Day Use Attendant is responsible for greeting guests and answering any questions they may have. They are also responsible for directing traffic to ensure efficient and safe parking. They will also ensure proper payment is received and enforce all rules and regulations under the prescribed operating procedures.
- Inventory and stocking cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc.
- Clean Day-Use site after guest departure
- Recording and reporting of accidents, injuries, and emergency situations
- Maintain bathroom cleanliness and properly stock with essential toiletries
- Rubbish collection and consolidation
- Basic grounds keeping including vegetation removal
- Daily financial reporting
- May provide backup to kiosk and Day-Use Attendant
- Maintain cleanliness workspace
- Work with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Evangelizing the area hiking trails and landmarks in the surrounding area
- Communicates and promotes positive PMC image and information to the community
- Attend staff training and all staff meetings as required
- Other duties/projects as assigned by the management
Roving Relief Host
The Revolving Relief host provides back up relief to the main host. They are responsible for overseeing and coordinating campground operations and must ensure an exceptional visitor experience.
- Reservation management
- Greet guests and answer any questions they may have
- Explain campground layout and direct guests to campsites
- Ensure proper payment is received
- Enforce rules and regulations as outlined by Parks Management Company
- Inventory and stocking of campground supplies to include firewood, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Clean campsites after camper departure
- Maintain bathroom cleanliness and properly stock with essential toiletries
