DESCRIPTION:
Park host needed for a day use park in Columbus, Mississippi. The schedule is 7 days on/7 days off.
Columbus East Bank Day Use Park has the following features: boat ramp, pollinator field, hunting area, children’s playground, 3 fishing piers, 3 reservable pavilions, walking track, basketball courts and lookout area.
DUTIES
Incumbent will be responsible for answering phone calls related to the park, opening and closing the entrance gate daily, assisting visitors, park cleanup, and posting signs for reserved pavilions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must be able to have friendly/polite interactions with the public, good phone manners and their own RC.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Mostly indoors with a few outdoor tasks. Will work next to another park host on a rotating schedule.
