Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking Maintenance Laborers to join our team for the 2021 season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
We have dorm-style housing and RV Sites available. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities for our associates.
Responsibilities
Perform building maintenance duties.
Follow safety procedures at all times.
Order parts and maintain inventory as directed.
Perform basic repair and maintenance of assigned equipment.
Perform lifting, shoveling, cleanup work, snow and ice removal, painting and assist in general maintenance work.
Remodel and repair wooden structures, buildings, and their furnishings.
Safely operate small power tools, shovels, rakes, and other maintenance tools.
Qualifications
Minimum of six months previous experience in maintenance or construction environment.
Physical Requirements
Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and to paint.
Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor.
Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally.
Frequently lifting 50 pounds.
Visual acuity sufficient for reading, performing repairs, and painting.
Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons, including variable temperatures and wet and/or humid conditions.
Occasionally exposed to fumes and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Noise level may be moderate to high.
