Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking Food Service Leads to join our team for the 2021 season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
As a Food Service Lead you will supervise an assigned food outlet and lead associates in the delivery of excellent guest service at all times.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for the outdoors and guest service that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We have dorm-style housing and RV Sites available. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities for our associates.
Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates activities of food outlet associates on a per shift basis, including training, counseling and enforcing work procedures and service standards.
Ensures job performance of food outlet attendants via GuestPath Service Standards and operational service standards, health department, and all related operational standards.
Inspects all food outlets and portables in the assigned area, ensuring all food outlets,and surrounding areas remain clean, sanitized, and safe and that all equipment is working properly.
Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management as needed.
Verifies food outlet inventories before and after each day, and as assigned.
Verifies food preparation for timeliness, and proper quantities.
Performs opening and closing procedures.
Assists associates in serving guests as business levels demand.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of six months experience in a food service position required; one year desired.
Previous cash handling/cashier experience required.
Previous supervisory experience desired.
Physical Requirements
Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
Frequently immerses hands in water, soaps and sanitizer.
May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on season.
May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.
Hazards include but are not limited to cuts from broken glass, slips, trips, falls, cuts, burns and strains.
Noise level may be moderate-to-high during busy times.
