As a partner with the National Park Service, we employ 600 summer seasonal associates to deliver an extraordinary retail experience to the millions of guests that visit the park every year, providing them with food, equipment, supplies, keepsakes and collectibles through Yellowstone General Stores.Yellowstone National Park is a 3,500 square mile wilderness area atop a volcanic hotspot mostly in the state of Wyoming. Yellowstone is home to hundreds of animal species, waterfalls, geysers, hiking trails and much more. Located an hour and a half drive from its neighboring small towns, Yellowstone is a remote area perfect for those seeking a summer hiking, animal watching, and enjoying the comradery that the park has to offer.Per our concessionaire’s contract with the National Park Service, all associates are required to complete a pre-employment background check.

We would like to use your sense of adventure at one of our General Stores in exchange, you will be able to explore hiking trails, water falls, animals, and thermal features…all that Yellowstone has to offer – what’s stopping you?As a Trainer at the Yellowstone General Stores, you will train and support associates with the designed training program. As the trainer you will learn all modules in order to properly train incoming associates. These modules include, but not exclusive of: Food Safety & Sanitation, Cash Handling & NetSuite/Vivonet, Safety, Audit and various company programs. The Trainer will also assist in train the trainer for store supervisory team members for on-site module completion. The Trainer will also be accountable to assure tracking is completed and forwarded to our compliance team.Your performance will be evaluated on the ability to absorb the material to be trained, comfort in disseminating the material and recognizing whether associates have grasped the material to meet the minimum standards of the position which they hold.We are seeking candidates with a passion for the outdoors and guest service that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are team oriented.Candidates must be willing and able to successfully pass Delaware North at Yellowstone trainings specific to this position. Applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment background check.Associates will be required to work evenings and weekends, as well as split shifts.We do have dorm style housing and RV sites available (single RV’ers welcome), associate discount, and recreational program.Please apply only once and for your first choice of position.
