Residential Maintenance Volunteer
Job Description
Want to be in beautiful Ocala Florida for the summer? We are currently looking for one resident volunteer to work as maintenance volunteer(s) Position available . Volunteers can arrive September 1 – October 31, 2021.
Volunteers will work 4 days per week, minimum of 20 hours per week per site (schedule is flexible). Maintenance volunteer(s) work on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, pressure washing, mechanical and more. Cleaning up a Warehouse storage building and Springs Shop building into a working carpentry shop.
You’ll receive full hook up (FHU) site, Wi-Fi (at Ranger Station), use of Volunteer Rec Hall (includes full kitchen, bathroom, dining room, lounge area and laundry), all while living within a short bike ride to kayak/canoeing along the Silver River, Greenways and Trails, 12 miles of trails in the park, hundreds of miles of trails in nearby Ocala National Forest, 30 minute drive to numerous springs parks with swimming, or a few hour to either Florida coast for beaches.
