One of the highest lakes in the Tahoe National Forest. It has 10 lakeside sites and 15 sites by the dam. White Rock Lake has 6 sites, with fire rings only, located by 4×4 road about 7 miles away. The host/couple has a company 4×4 truck. The host site is provided with a 500 gallon water tank. Water has to be transported from a spring 5 miles away. The lakes are popular with ATVers, fishermen and hunters. The closest conveniences are in Truckee, Ca located about 17 miles away.
