Job Description
Hot Springs National Park Campground, Gulpha Gorge, is seeking approximately 4 Hosts for the Campground effective immediately.
This is a Volunteer Position – no monetary compensation.
Hosts are allowed to stay, rent free at one of the campsites with full hookups. Free water, electricity and sewer.
This position requires you to meet Guests, assist them in registration through the Park Kiosk if needed, maintain the campground by picking up liter, clean campsites, keep a log of current guests at the Campsites, be available if you are on duty and keep the National Park Visitation Center updated on vacancies.
You will be required to be “on duty” for 32 hrs a week. You will work under the direction of the Hot Springs National Park Coordinator, Missy Smothers and report to her.
Gulpha Gorge has 44 full hookup campsites and is located in the Hot Springs National Park and is one of the few “Open all year round” parks in the State.
The compensation is the opportunity to stay in one of the most beautiful places in Arkansas. The Park is surrounded by nature, and a running stream. If you are interested in becoming a Park Host, please respond and you will be directed to the National Park Services.
A background check and finger printing will be required for this position.
