DESCRIPTION:
Volunteer team needed for park cleaning.
Carters Lake seeks volunteer team to continue reduced cleaning services throughout the winter months. This position will require bi-weekly trash collection and minor cleaning of toilet facilities at parks around the project.
DUTIES
Bi-weekly: Team will visit all open parks on Carters Lake and collect trash over 1/2 full, will replace toilet paper in toilet facilities, conduct minor cleaning and sanitization of contact surfaces (door handles/toilet seats) in toilet facilities. Volunteers will restrict access and notify park ranger staff of any heavily soiled facilities for more thorough cleaning.
QUALIFICATIONS
Capable of walking, bending, kneeling, and standing for relatively short periods, capable of lifting and carrying 15-20 lbs for short distances, willingness to wear minor PPE (nitril gloves, face mask), capable of safely handling standard household cleaning products (diluted bleach, simple green).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Independent and outdoors. Self maintained schedule. Generally working Tuesday and Friday.
Minimum of 20 hours up to 25 hours of work per week required for site.
