Joining our team at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument provides the opportunity to experience a remarkable and unique representation of the Sonoran Desert. Assist park staff and provide stellar visitor experience by performing custodial duties, cleaning restrooms, building facilities, outdoor walkways, and trash pick-up, recycling, and litter removal.

Joining our team at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument provides the opportunity to experience a remarkable and unique representation of the Sonoran Desert. Three species of columnar cactus grow here: the iconic Saguaro, the Sentia, and of course, our namesake cactus the Organ Pipe. This is the only place in the United States where the Organ Pipe Cactus grows in concentration and the northernmost reach of its range. The monument includes a diverse community of plants, animals, fabulous night skies and extensive opportunities to hike and explore desert wilderness.

Staff and visitors are awed by the remote beauty and quiet solitude of this vast desert landscape.

While Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is a remarkable place to live and work, it does have Its challenges. Visitation is concentrated during our high season from January through mid-April. Campgrounds can reach near capacity by March with high demand for sites of specific types and sizes.

Patience, tact, and empathy are key to successful operations at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.
