Job Description

We are taking applications for potential Workampers and Workamper couples with trade talents and/or ability to make a long-term commitment 3-6 month+. Please keep in mind that we are looking to maintain a strong team, so only team players need apply.

Our Workamper positions are for trade of 28 hours per week, which is approximately four 7-hour shifts per week. This can be split by a couple/team. The compensation for 28 hours is a full-hookup site including utilities, propane deliveries, laundry, but does not include pay. Additionally, Top of the Hill pays a $250.00 bonus for committing to and completing a full year of service (one bonus for one year of 28 hours of weekly service being completed).

The three possible positions and their typical duties:

Maintenance Work Campers must provide our guests with an experience beyond their expectations. Maintenance duties include escorting guests to their sites for check-ins, general maintenance, resort cleanup, trash pick-up, restroom maintenance, mowing, trimming, landscaping, cleaning the pool and various projects and other duties as needed. Volunteering to help with special events.

Housekeeper Work Campers must provide our guests with an experience beyond their expectations. Housecleaning duties include thorough cleaning of all of our public buildings and cabins, and other duties as needed. Volunteering and hosting special events.

Store Clerk Work Campers must provide our guests with an experience beyond their expectations. Store Clerk position requires an outgoing personality person with good telephone voice, greeting customers, taking reservations (Astra Software or other reservation software experience a plus), computer knowledge, cash handling, stocking shelves, cleaning the store and other duties as needed. Volunteering and hosting special events.
