DESCRIPTION:
Waccamaw NWR is recruiting for individuals/couples to work at our recreation area.
Waccamaw NWR has a recreation area with hiking trails, boardwalks, fishing piers, and picnic areas. Volunteers are responsible for general upkeep and maintenance of the recreation area. Address of recreation area and RV site is 1403 W. Cox Ferry Rd., Conway, SC 29526.
Duties include monitoring trails for debris/trash, mowing grass (seasonal), blowing off boardwalks & fishing piers, general maintenance.
Driver’s license required and general operation of hand & power tools.
