The campground host supports the campground operation and provides a valuable point of contact for visitors in the campground. It is very important that you speak and act courteously and professionally. Do not put yourself in a situation that is beyond the scope of your duties as a campground host. Remember that your job is enlightenment, not enforcement. Ranger and/or maintenance staff will be available by radio during business hours. There is very limited cell service at Oregon Caves National Monument & Preserve and virtually none available in the campground. Radio will be your main source of contact.
Housing Situation
Campground host will live on site in a reserved gravel pad, large enough to accommodate an RV under 10ft wide by 45ft length. The site has hook-ups to potable water, electricity (travel trailer style receptacle; 125v, 30amp), and wastewater.
Cave Creek Campground opens Memorial Day weekend and closes usually after the first rains in September.

The host does not collect fees and will direct the camper to fee station/iron ranger or the visitor center to pay their campsite fee.
