Camp Host

We are currently recruiting for Camp Host positions for this coming season at Smithville Lake. Season is usually April-October or November depending on the weather.

The primary purpose of this seasonal position is to represent the Parks department as a host to park visitors and assist in collecting fees and providing visitor assistance by responding to requests (day/night). Camp Host live on site during the camping season in their own RV/Camper fee-free and work shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. as scheduled. Weekends and Holidays are mandatory and as there are sometimes split shifts.

Camp Host usually work in pairs
Camp Host must be at least 18 years old, legally licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle and have own camping unit

$11.15 an hour
