If you have an RV and you like people, Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery needs your help. We need our hosts to keep our visitor center staffed 4 days a week, Friday through Monday, including weekends and some July and August evenings. Besides greeting visitors, offering short tours, and keeping an eye on the site, there are opportunities for someone who can help us build kiosks, fences, and other projects to improve the site for our visitors. Our small team works together to make sure we can arrange for flexible blocks of time off for everyone. Leavenworth, known as “Washington’s Bavarian Village,” is a small mountain town thriving on tourism. A series of city-sponsored events keeps summer lively, especially on weekends. Hiking, rafting, fishing, bicycling, and other outdoor sports are popular. The hatchery gets visitors who are curious about the fish, as well as people using the wooded trails on our 170 acres for walking, birdwatching, running, bicycling, and horseback riding. We host a variety of activities and events, including Leavenworth Summer Theater and the Wenatchee River Salmon Festival.  HOUSING & AMENITIESType: Trailer/RV PadsDescription: We have a wired and plumbed RV pad.
