Cleaning Volunteer

The custodial cleaning host maintains cleanliness at picnic, and boat ramp areas from mid-April – mid-October.  Duties will include opening and closing gates, cleaning restrooms, servicing trash receptacles, posting shelter reservations and picking up litter and debris.  Facilities and Grounds are cleaned in the mornings daily.  Volunteers will average 21 hours of service per week with days off Tuesday and Wednesday. The host must provide their own reliable, licensed vehicle, fuel, and insurance to transport cleaning materials and hauling trash.  Volunteers must maintain a valid driver’s license. The estimated mileage for this position is 40 miles per week.
