DESCRIPTION
A unique General Manager/RV Host job opportunity in Central Minnesota.

Northern Sky RV Resort in Isle, Minnesota is a gem offering 184 RV sites located on Mille Lacs Lake, the state’s second largest inland lake. Only 90 minutes from the Twin Cities, Northern Sky, provides an easy lake getaway. Mille Lacs is known for fun family vacations, beautiful scenery, and its extraordinary walleye, bass, northern pike, and muskie fishing.

We are seeking a General Manager with local knowledge and a diverse background. This unique year-round position offers the opportunity for free lot or onsite housing seasonally.

Required to live onsite for the entire season
Provide excellent customer service to RV and Campground Guests
Manage Daily Reservations and Long-Term Rentals
Ensure guest check-ins/check-outs
Process transactions accurately through a property management system (PMS register), count money, make change, and process credit card transactions
Provide guests with information such as local points of interest, fishing reports and where they can find things like fuel, bait, and groceries
Provide regular reports to management company and keep the team up to date on the day-to-day operations
Perform light (or full) maintenance duties, make minor emergency repairs
Maintain and improve the appearance of the park, including but not limited to debris pick up, sweeping and mopping, window cleaning, cleaning of shower/bathroom houses, cleaning of fish cleaning station, etc.
Oversee the marina and manage the winter storage rentals of fish houses, boats, and RVs
Be observant and advise campers of any rules they may not be aware of
Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Post high school studies preferred. Must speak, read, write and communicate the primary language (s) used in the workplace and by the guests who visit the property.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year hospitality related supervisory experience. Accounting procedure training, cash handling and other administrative experience.

PHYSICAL: Requires grasping, writing, counting, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, verbal communications and visual acuity. On occasion may be required ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
