AVAILABILITY: 1/15/2020–1/15/2021

RV INFORMATION: In return, the volunteers will receive a free campsite which is located in a beautiful landscaped area designed only for the park caretakers which includes; electrical, water, sewer and garbage pick-up. Phone service is available. Cable TV is also available for hook-up at the volunteer’s expense.

Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • General Assistance DescriptionVolunteer Park Caretakers Needed: This Position is Year Round 2020 Fishtrap Lake is looking for two separate volunteer park caretakers. They would be stationed at the Damsite Recreation Area and their jobs would consist of mowing non-typical areas with a riding lawn mower and a weed eater, and policing the area and cleaning restrooms during non-contractor performance days. They must be capable of performing physical work duties in an outdoors environment. Volunteers will also serve in a surveillance capacity and as a point of contact between Park Rangers and the many visitors who frequent the area. All necessary equipment, fuel, safety equipment as well as all necessary cleaning supplies will be provided.
