CAMPGROUND: Campground Host/Bakers Run Campground

DEPT: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

AVAILABILITY: 5/1/2020–9/30/2020

RV INFORMATION: Hosts, either individuals or families, will receive free camping (full hook-up) while serving as Host, plus use of USACE owned UTV to carry out duties within the recreation area.

Volunteer Activities• Campground Host • Other • Trail/Campground Maintenance • General Assistance DescriptionCampground Host/Baker’s Run Campground: Volunteer Duties: General visitor assistance, non-routine/periodic patrols, operate equipment/life jacket loaner station, camper registration, fee collection, campground record maintenance and recreation area surveillance. Special Skills: Every Campground Host has unique interests and talents.  If a Campground Host is interested in serving in other areas that do not impact their primary Host duties, the Volunteer Service Agreement can be modified to include this work. Examples of additional service might include Campground Activities such as music performances, craft demonstrations, games for children, holiday events; minor maintenance tasks such as painting, mowing, etc; photography, assistance with Special Events, etc. (Updated 12/31/2019)   HOUSING & AMENITIESType: Trailer/RV PadsDescription: Hosts, either individuals or families, will receive free camping (full hook-up) while serving as Host, plus use of USACE owned UTV to carry out duties within the recreation area.
