RV INFORMATION: Yes, a campsite hook-up is provided with 20 hours per week of work.

Volunteer Activities• Office/Clerical • Other • Visitor Information • General Assistance Photo Courtesy of USACE DescriptionVisitor Center Host: Volunteer Duties: Answer visitor’s questions and provide any needed assistance. Answer phone calls and provide public with needed assistance. Maintain appropriate records of visitation as well as report equipment breakdown or unusual occurrences. Perform clerical duties as needed. Open and close Visitor Center on a daily basis. Sell book store items and operate cash register. Maintains displays in a clean and operational manner. Stock brochure racks and merchandise shelves. Make sure restrooms are tidy. Check trash cans. Ensure kitchen items are put away in appropriate location. Update outside information boards. Sweep and clean off sidewalks when needed. Clean windows and doors when needed. Perform all duties safely. This job description can be changed at any time by the Operation Manager. Hours include 9:30 AM until 6:30 PM, daily and including holidays and weekends. There will be 2 other couples to help split up the shifts.   Special Skills: Communication skills, customer service skills, good energy, enjoys helping visitors and kids.
