Campground Attendants
Job Description
· Reside in the campground full time during the period of employment.
· Actively attend the park entrance during the hours of operation and as needed to handle campground traffic, etc.
· Welcome and check in all guests as they arrive at the campground in a friendly, welcoming manner.
· Check out and thank all departing guests for visiting and extend a warm invitation to them to return.
· Maintain the campground software program including entering all reservations, maintaining the record of arrivals and departures, collecting, and recording all monies received from the guests for campsites, wood, shower tokens, dump station charges, etc.
· Close out all cash and credit receipts at the end of each day and submit all monies and records to a designated member of the Campground Committee.
· Welcome anyone interested in “taking a look around” and hand out campground fliers to them.
· Perform any general maintenance duties necessary to keep the campground property clean, safe, quiet, healthful, and sanitary consistent with the reasonable expectations of the Campground Management Committee and campground users. This includes mowing, trimming, leaf raking/blowing, etc. for the campground proper, the area from the campground entrance to the bridge, and the walking path. Campground Committee members will be available and can offer assistance as needed.
· Monitor and clean restrooms three time daily and insure they are clean, well-supplied, and the trash containers are emptied.
· Advise a designated Campground Committee member of any issues encountered and any required supplies weekly.
· Under no circumstances subcontract any responsibilities to a third party without approval of the Campground Committee.
· Collect all required monthly water samples and submit them to a designated Campground Committee member for submission to the Berryville Water Department in Berryville, AR.
