Macks Creek Park is a small day-use area and 15-site campground located on the Boise River Arm of Lucky Peak Lake, 25 miles from Boise and four miles from the Ponderosa Pine Scenic Byway through the Boise National Forest. During summer, the lake stretches 12 miles, with 45 miles of shoreline and over 3,000 surface acres of water.
