The Zion Lodge is hiring a Retail Supervisor position to join our team! The Details:
Start Date: Immediate, but can be reasonably flexible
Position Type: Seasonal/Year Round
Wage Range: $13.25 plus FREE single status housing

Responsibilities
- Facilitate and supervise the sale of merchandise in Zion’s gift shop.
- Ensuring the security and safety of employees and guests while adhearing to Covid saftey requirments.
- Implementing and training cash handeling procedures while accurately following accounting procedures.
- Assist retail sales associates with discounts and returns.
- Physically assist and delegate work to keep the sales floor clean and merchandise stocked.
- Helping keep the store presentable by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, scrubbing, mopping and removing garbage.
- Assist the Manager with inventory control, ordering, receiving and merchandise display.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand throughout an eight-hour shift.
- Able to frequently move cartons of 50lbs or more with reasonable accommodations provided.
- Ability to communicate and cooperate positively with guests, employees, and management.
- Ability to function with flexibility and courteous behavior in a high traffic retail operation.
- Ability to work with a minimum supervision while maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Knowledge of Zion National Park and surrounding area is helpful but not required.
- Exercise preventative inventory control policies.
- Ability to operate cash register, handle and/or count cash accurately.
