RV INFORMATION: In exchange for volunteer services hosts will be provided with, an RV site, electricity, water, and sewage at no charge. The host is required to maintain a telephone at their own expense.

Volunteer Activities• Other • Trail/Campground Maintenance • General Assistance DescriptionAcorn Campground Summer Position Only: The Acorn campground during the summer is a quiet get away for people who enjoy the peace that the changing of seasons has to offer. These warmer months attract sportsmen, anglers, and smaller camping groups. The Acorn campground includes a total of 132 campsites, however during the time that this position is offered the amount of sites ranges from 55 to 77. Applicants will not collect fees, or be responsible for operating an entrance station. Volunteers are needed for 3 to 4 month terms that include 20 to 25 hours per week of service. Volunteers ensure that the beauty of New Hogan Lake is preserved for park guests by performing minor maintenance and other responsibilities. These responsibilities can include, litter pick up, the emptying of fire pits, and guaranteeing that reservation cards are placed on campsites before guests arrive.
