Glacier National Park encompasses more than 16,000 square miles of largely wilderness area and is known for its seemingly endless acres of rugged and breathtaking landscapes. Glacier National Park was established in 1910 and stands today as a monument to wild natural places. As part of the Crown of the Continent ecosystem, the park includes 175 named mountains, 762 lakes (130 named lakes), 200+ named waterfalls and 25 named glaciers, as well as 1,000 plant species, and hundreds of animal species.
The Details:
- Seasonal position starts immediately and extends through mid- to late-September 2022 (dates depend on Location)
- Pay Rate: $920/week

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the overall tone of the operation by communicating specific expectations to all line employees.
- Exceed budgetary goals by maximizing sales and controlling loss; monitoring and reacting to payroll/labor issues on a daily basis; monitoring and reacting to food cost issues on a daily basis; maintaining appropriate levels of “other expense” items.
- Work with Location Chef and other members of local management to maintain appropriate par levels of all inventory items.
- Observe, monitor, provide corrective action, and follow-up in all areas of the operation on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all employees receive appropriate training for their position and that training is documented appropriately.
- Ensure that all schedules, including appropriate management coverage, for the next week are checked and posted two days prior to the start of the new schedule, and provide floor management coverage as needed.
- Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
- Participate in Manager on Duty Program as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Must have a working knowledge of all departments’ positions; equipment; and understanding of administrative duties, production records, inventories, scheduling, purchasing and receiving.
- Responsible for teaching and motivating employees and management to accomplish goals of providing excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
- Must be able to remain calm in a high stress environment while motivating and fostering a positive work environment.
- Certification in the TIPS alcohol awareness program is required; workshops will be provided if not currently certified.
- Previous quick service/pizza restaurant management experience preffered.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the day.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Working safely with required chemicals.
- Must be able to perform various administrative tasks on a computer for extended periods of time.
