Job Description
Conservation Camper needed at University of Florida biological station. Work and live on a 9,500 acre Florida forest that is closed to the public. Three month stay required, positions available starting September 2022. 16-hrs wk. per person. This position will focus primarily land management tasks including;
· Trail and road trimming and clearing
· Basic carpentry
· Mowing of roads with tractors (This may be considered if individual can demonstrate knowledge and safe operation of equipment and watch tractor safety video).
· Assist in the removal of exotic-invasive plant species
· Fence repair and maintenance
