Not a worry in the world, a paintbrush in your hand! Several volunteer positions are available. This is a great opportunity for couples or individuals who are interested in making a difference in the Council Grove community. We are looking for volunteers to work on campground improvement projects, interpretive programming, and general maintenance of facilities. Tasks include but are not limited to: Presenting water safety and environmental education programming, trimming trees, maintaining gardens, litter pickup, or other tasks such as general carpentry, concrete, or painting. Responsibilities may be assigned according to demonstrated skills and experience. Appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be supplied. Volunteers should have strong leadership skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff.
