Acadia Woods Cottages, a premium cottage colony nestled amid the tranquil embrace of the Maine woodlands on Mt. Desert Island, is seeking to enhance the experience of our guests by welcoming a dynamic Camp Host Couple to join our team.
As stewards of hospitality and guardians of the natural beauty surrounding our retreat, the ideal candidates will embody warmth, professionalism, and a dedication to exceptional customer service, supported by excellent teamwork.
Responsibilities:
*Assisting guests with information about their cottage, the premises, facilities, rules, and regulations.
*Monitoring activity on the premises, including noise and activity levels, especially adherence to quiet hours.
*Addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints from guests in a professional and courteous manner.
*Providing assistance and information to guests regarding nearby attractions, hiking trails, and recreational activities.
*Enforcing rules and policies on the premises to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
*Performing light maintenance duties.
*Serving as a point of contact for emergencies and contacting appropriate authorities as needed.
Qualifications:
*Willingness to reside onsite for the duration of the hosting period.
*Experience with campground and hospitality operations or related field.
*Familiarity with Mt. Desert Island, Maine a must.
*Excellent customer service and communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
*Knowledge of outdoor safety practices, and basic first aid.
*Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
*Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
*References and background check required.
Compensation Package and Perks:
*Use of a full-service RV site with FHU and high-speed internet from 5/15/24 to 11/1/24.
*Stipend or hourly rate to be discussed – depending on experience and expected hours of work.
*End of season bonus based on guest reviews.
*Time spent amid the picturesque beauty of Maine, Mt. Desert Island, Acadia National Park.
