DEPT: Forest Service
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area is looking for an enthusiastic candidate(s) to perform the duties of Day Use Site Host for the BZ Launch Site & Trail and Husum Boating Site for 2026! The BZ day-use site allows kayakers and rafters to put into the Lower White Salmon River. It also includes an easy day hike with scenic views of the river. BZ Corner is an unincorporated community, there is a gas station, coffee stand, and community center along with some guide companies. As this opportunity requires extensive public interaction, an individual or couple with an affinity for public engagement is needed. Past host experience is helpful but not required.
