Job Description
Folsom Lake has an opportunity for you to volunteer while enjoying the lake and meeting
new people.
We are now accepting applications for the Beals Point and Peninsula Campgrounds Camp
Host positions. There is a 6 month required stay offered from April 1st thru
October 1st, with a 30 hours per week work schedule.
The camp host duties consist of but are not limited to:
• Updating the Rangers on the ever changing visitation and needs of the campground
• Registering new campers and providing basic information to visitor
• Basic campground maintenance and upkeep
• Staying on site during peak days and hours of visitation
• Conduct wood sales
Camp Hosts will have free hook up access during their volunteer service and be eligible to earn
a State Parks Volunteer pass for the next calendar year.
Beals Point campground is located off Auburn‐Folsom Road in Placer County, CA
Peninsula campground is located off Rattlesnake Bar Road in El Dorado County, CA
