JOB DESCRIPTION:
Prescott National Forest is looking for energetic, hardworking, fun-loving individuals and couples to serve as volunteer hosts at family and group campgrounds, and day use sites with gate duties off site. Opportunities are located on the Bradshaw Ranger District near the city of Prescott, Arizona. Previous host experience is helpful but not required, as training is provided.
Seeking people who love being good stewards of the land, have excellent customer service skills, friendly and patient personalities, ability to perform daily campsite and restroom cleaning, light maintenance, and tracking reservations where applicable.
Volunteer hosts must own their own accommodation (RV/Camper/Motorhome) to live on site; tents are not permitted. Utilities (electric, sewer, potable water) available at some campgrounds and day use sites. Some locations have 2 hosts requiring each to work together and share duties including covering during each other’s days off.
