Workamping Opportunity – Lakes & Mountains of Maine 🌲
Coos Canyon Campground & Cabins | Byron, ME
We are a small, family-run campground nestled in the beautiful Lakes and Mountains region of western Maine, located in the quiet town of Byron.
This area is a natural playground for outdoor lovers, with hiking, swimming, gold panning, ATVing, fishing, hunting, and touring quaint Maine towns all close by.
Positions Available
Camp Store / Guest Experience
Grounds Cleaning / Janitorial / Light Maintenance
We prefer a workamping couple, but solo applicants are welcome. Workamping couples will work the same shifts.
Position Details
– Season: May through mid-October
– Pay: Hourly wages + campsite arrangement
– Hours: Approximately 24–40 hours per person/week
(with opportunities to work more or less depending on the season)
Ideal Candidates
– Friendly, dependable, and guest-focused
– Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
– Enjoy being part of a small, close-knit team
– Prior campground or customer service experience is helpful but not required
