Camp Host

We are located within 20 minutes of Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas and 10 minutes away from Hot Springs Village, Arkansas West Gate.

Full-time on-site position for one person.  We will consider a couple but only one person will be the campground host.  There are usually positions available at Ron Coleman Mining.  A minimum one-year commitment is required for this position but we would love a permanent camp host.  Our current campground host has worked for us for 3 years.

Compensation:

Full Hookup Campsite, $200 per week plus $25 per tiny home turn

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years camp host experience.

2.  Provide a photo of your rig.

3.  Resume plus phone numbers of previous employers.

Duties include:

Answering phone calls and texts.

If a reservation is not made through Campground Commander, the camp host will make the reservation.

Collect reservation fees from drop in campers.

Help campers locate their campsite and back-in if needed.

Keep campsites and campground clean.

Clean tiny houses and replace all linens after check-out. (One of the tiny houses has loft sleeping.  Must be able to climb the stairs and maneuver in a small loft) Wash, dry and fold linens.

Clean restrooms, laundromat and stock supplies in the evening and on housekeeping days off.

If a repair is not simple, notify maintenance of needed repairs

Handle any complaints and ensure guests are following campground rules.  Your supervisor is available if you need assistance.

Keep the crystal wash station clean and safe for campground guests.

Remove coins from washers and dryers and deliver to supervisor.

PLEASE NOTE:  The current camp host informed us of her intention to leave December 22, 2024.  We will consider an early move-in to secure the right person and have the current camp host handle training.

Camp host will have two scheduled days per week scheduled off.  Aflac supplemental insurance and Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance coverage is offered to full time employees.   50% discount for most gift shop purchases after 30 days of employment. A background check and past employment history check will be completed prior to on-boarding.
