JOB DESCRIPTION:
Description: The Echo Amphitheater Day Use and Campground is looking for highly motivated and people-oriented applicants to host and enjoy the winter months in the desert. The campground is small but mighty with 8 newly renovated campsites and one newly renovated host site. The day use area of the Echo Amphitheater is a favorite stopping point for tourists and locals alike.
Host duties will include the following:
Campground—greet and instruct visitors how and where to pay camping fees; clean fire rings; and provide information about Echo Amphitheater and other local opportunities for recreation.
Day Use—greet and instruct visitors how and where to pay if they have not already paid the day use fee; clean restrooms at least twice per day; collect trash from bins and place in the dumpster provided; walk and monitor the path to the Echo Amphitheater at least once a day; address any erosion and silting issues after rain events; and close/open the gate daily.
Selected candidate will bring their own hard-sided RV.
Reimbursement $30/person/day.
Host site amenities include electric, septic, and good cell service!
