Job Description
Join our vibrant team as an Empire Campground Host & Assistant Maintenance! This dynamic role offers the exciting opportunity to create memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our beautiful campground. As a key ambassador of hospitality, you’ll welcome visitors, assist with guest services, supply vehicle passes and support maintenance tasks to keep our outdoor oasis inviting and well-maintained. Your energetic approach and dedication will help foster a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and cared for from arrival to departure.
We are looking for two seasonal positions for May 15th – September 15th period.
Prefer a retirement couple but not necessary the campground will provide housing at location (or) electric site for your travel trailer.
1.) Assistant Maintenance part time 20 hours per week ‘light duties’, wages $14.00 – $15.00 hr
2.) Campground Host Volunteer position hours 2 to 3 hours daily, ‘light duties’.

Responsibilities
Host:
*Greet guests warmly & provide information about campground amenities, rules, and local attractions to enhance their stay if inquired.
*Provide exceptional guest services offering local recommendations, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
*Provide vehicle passes for each registered guest.
*Provide change for guest for the shower house and sales of ice (open 2 to 3 hours at your assigned times noted).
Assistant Maintenance:
*Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, campsites, and facilities to ensure a pristine environment
*Restock toilet paper in all bathrooms morning and evening.
*Monitor / conduct site inspections and protocols, report any hazards or maintenance needs promptly to Maintenance Supervisor.
*Other miscellaneous task and details.
Requirements:
Previous experience in hospitality desired.
Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures is helpful.
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
Passion for hospitality, outdoor recreation, and creating positive guest experiences.
