Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Information:
*Greeting and assisting campers: Answering questions about the campground, park rules, local attractions, and available services.
*Providing information: Distributing maps, brochures, and park regulations to campers.
*Directing campers: Guiding visitors to their campsites, helping them find amenities, and providing directions to local points of interest.
*Registration & Fees: In some cases, hosts may be involved in registering campers, collecting fees, and working in the gift shop.
Campground Maintenance & Cleanliness:
*Cabin / Glamping tent Laundry / Cleaning
*Light maintenance: Performing tasks like raking campsites, cleaning fire rings, washing tables, picking up litter, and reporting any damage to the campground. Keeping Mountain Biking Trails free of debris.
*Restroom and shower maintenance: Cleaning and stocking restrooms, showers, and other shared facilities.
*General upkeep: Maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the campground, including mowing lawns, weeding, and other landscaping tasks.
*Safety & Security: Monitoring the campground for safety concerns, reporting vandalism or illegal activities, and ensuring that campers adhere to park rules.
Communication & Reporting:
*Liaison between campers and park staff: Communicating visitor needs and concerns to park management.
*Reporting incidents: Documenting and reporting any accidents, vandalism, or other issues to the appropriate authorities.
*Maintaining logs: Keeping track of visitor activity, incidents, and maintenance needs.
Other Duties:
Special events and activities: Assisting with campground events or educational programs as needed.
Gift Shop: Opening Gift Shop daily for a minimum of 2 hours
Firewood sales: In some cases, hosts may be responsible for selling firewood or other supplies to campers.
Emergency assistance: Providing assistance to campers in emergencies and contacting emergency services when necessary.
Enforcing rules and regulations: Ensuring that campers are aware of and follow campground rules.
This position offers a couple with a camper of their own free full hookups / wifi and $1,500 a month salary plus a 40% profit share once campground base expenses are met.

Self-contained living:
Most campground host positions require living on-site in an RV or camper.
Physical ability:
The role may involve physical tasks like cleaning, maintenance, and patrolling the campground.
Dependability and reliability:
Hosts are expected to be reliable and available to perform their duties as scheduled.
