JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for dependable and enthusiastic Volunteers. Hidden Dam, Hensley Lake is situated in the San Joaquin Valley, approximately 40 miles north of Fresno and approximately 40 miles south of Yosemite National Park. This is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project and is surrounded by beautiful foothills and stunning views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range to the North and East. Opportunities abound for fishing, camping, boating, jet skiing, disc golf, hiking, and horse and bike trail riding.
Duties as a Volunteer include assisting campers checking in and out, campground maintenance, cleaning firepits, picking up litter, painting, weed eating, trail maintenance, and reporting damage. Other duties may be assigned based on volunteer’s interests and skill levels. Volunteers are expected to work at least 20 hours per week, and schedules are flexible to meet your needs. A campsite with full hookups is provided in exchange for volunteer services. A Federal background check may be required.
