Job Description
Heritage RV Park in Augusta, Georgia, is seeking a year-round weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) campground office and guest services coordinator in exchange for a place to park camper with 50-amp service, $200 allotment for electricity, sewer and water hookup, garbage disposal, Wi-Fi connection, and $150 weekly.
The expected time commitment is working 9 A.M.-6 P.M. and on call from 6 P.M.-10 P.M. Flexible scheduling is possible for special occasions. Weekly pay increase possible based on performance, work ethic, and time on the job.
The job requirement is to primarily run the office, handle incoming phone calls, reservations and camper communications, handle weekend arrivals of campers, prepare campsites, and any assigned park and guest needs. A full job description will be provided during the interview. A working knowledge of a computer, ability to solve problems, address needs of campers, have self-motivation, and the ability to lift and fill 20-30 lb. propane tanks (with training).
Augusta, Georgia, located a short distance from the mountains and beach, and even shorter distance from the Savannah River and Clarks Hill (Lake Thurmond) reservoir, has a low cost of living as compared to other states and mild winters. Additionally, Augusta offers plenty of retail shopping, a nearby military base, large medical facilities and medical research university, biking trails, fishing tournaments, and Augusta hosts the world’s largest golf tournament in April.
