Volunteer Host

Lane County Parks in beautiful Lane County Oregon is seeking individuals or couples to serve as Volunteer Park Hosts and Volunteer Campground Hosts.  Hosts live in the park/campground full-time and help maintain day-to-day operations.  Positions are available at Armitage, Baker Bay, Orchard Point and Richardson Parks and Campgrounds.

1. Full Hook Up (water/ 30 or 50 amp / sewer or pump out)
2. Access to beautiful recreation sites and water views
3. Year round and seasonal openings!

• Greet visitors, answer questions and be readily accessible to the public.
• Represent Lane County Parks in a professional and appropriate manner at all times.
• Understand and explain rules to park visitors to encourage voluntarily compliance.
• Assist with reservations.
• Sell firewood, ice, annual and day Lane County Parks parking passes.
• Perform janitorial duties and grounds maintenance as assigned per frequency and schedule provided by Lane County Parks.
• Contact Parks staff or law enforcement personnel if/when any emergencies or activities within the park area warrant them.
• Ensure site security and perform daily inspections of campsites, gates, restrooms, showers and other facilities.
