Lazy Day Campground – Workcamper (On-Site RV Position)
Location: Lazy Day Campground – Danville, MO
Employment Type: Seasonal or Part-Time (Year-Round option for the right fit)
Accommodation: On-site RV FHU site provided (value applies toward compensation)
Start Date: Flexible – ideally Spring 2026
About Lazy Day Campground
Lazy Day Campground is a peaceful, family-owned park known for friendly hospitality, clean facilities, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Located right off I-70 between St. Louis and Columbia, we offer spacious RV sites, a pool, fishing pond, dog park, and wooded trails – a perfect spot for campers who love the outdoors and meeting great people.
About the Role
We are looking for cheerful, dependable workcampers who enjoy helping others and being part of a small team that keeps the campground running smoothly. This role includes a mix of guest services, light operational support, and grounds/maintenance tasks depending on strengths and interest.
This is a hands-on, guest-first role where no two days are the same!
Key Responsibilities
Depending on skillset and interest, responsibilities may include:
Guest Services
Greet campers with warmth and assist with check-ins / check-outs
Support with reservations and answering basic guest questions
Stock small store items or assist with merchandise sales
Facilities & Grounds Support
Light landscaping: watering flowers, leaf cleanup, trash pickup
Daily walk-throughs of the property to ensure cleanliness
Assist in setting up event spaces, fire pits, and common areas
Help maintain pool, dog park, and recreation areas
Community & Events
Support weekend events, holiday activities, and campground socials
Help create a fun, inclusive environment for guests of all ages
Ideal Candidate
Friendly, upbeat personality – enjoys people and customer service
Loves outdoor work and staying active
Reliable and able to work independently with good communication
RV owner comfortable living on-site for a season or longer
Positive presence that contributes to our community vibe
Basic handyman skills are a plus
