Campground Hosts

Hello and thanks for looking.

May Family Ranch is a family reunion/retreat center held in the beautiful mountains of central Idaho.

My wife and I have been the new owners the last few years and with 4 kids 7 and under have decided to look for a little help this summer. We own 7 acres and can accommodate 200 people. Families are required to bring their own bedding, cook their own meals and clean up before they leave with a cleaning checklist.

Our duties: We have 3 private rooms that we have to do laundry for, mow the lawn, etc… every 3-4 days before the next family arrives.

Preferably we are looking for a couple that can help with the chores outside for 3 -4 hours while the other half is checking guests out and in the ranch house swapping 3 bedrooms before the next family arrives. These 3-4 hours of work is about every 3-4 days.

We have found we don’t get away very often during the summer and so we are hoping if we decide to leave for the day and are out of cell service (Hiking, mtn. Biking, or sailing on redfish lake) that you can be on call just in case a guest locks themselves out of their rooms or something.

Most families are pretty good about taking care of themselves and we have left before with no issues. The main thing is it would make us feel comfortable having someone they could call and help us every 3-4 days for 3-4 hours on that day.

This could also be a full-time position with you living year round in the ranch house and running the bed and breakfast in the winter if things worked out for us both.

We are offering an RV site at our beautiful property.

We are thinking about paying minimum wage when you are on site working to help out as well as a free RV site.

Other perks: You could have your own family reunion on an empty day or days over the summer. We go on multiple rafting floats every summer you could join from easy up to class 4’s.
