Myrtle Beach State Park is seeking friendly, dependable Volunteer Hosts to assist with park operations in exchange for a free campsite. Located in bustling Myrtle Beach, SC, the park offers 312 acres of maritime forest and 1 mile of undeveloped beach. With over 300 campsites, 6 cabins, and high visitor traffic, Hosts are vital to maintaining a great guest experience. Hosts work a minimum of 25 hours per week (up to 40 hours depending on need) and receive a 50-ft campsite with full hookups, including 50-amp electric and access to Wi-Fi (connectivity may vary). A minimum 2-month stay is required, with a maximum stay of 5 consecutive months due to local tax regulations. All Hosts must complete a SC State Parks Application and pass a background check.
