Nantahala Ridge Campground Host
New campground positions available for early March 2025 in the beautiful Nantahala Gorge near Bryson City, NC. We are located a few minutes from the Nantahala Outdoor Center and in a serene, secluded setting in the Smoky Mountains with 32 wooded acres to explore.
We are seeking a camp host/couple with a fully-contained RV who is personable, detail-oriented, and functions well within a team. The host will help with overseeing the daily operations of our small, boutique campground. This flexible 3-4 day work week is perfect for those who want part-time work while exploring all the beauty the Smoky Mountains have to offer.
We have 5 cabins, a 2-bedroom house, and 5 RV sites currently. Duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Cleaning rental units and housekeeping.
2. Periodic yard maintenance tasks.
3. Maintaining the campground free of litter and trash and keeping a presentable site appearance for the public.
3. Coordinating firewood delivery for guests.
4. Maintaining a family friendly environment.
Ideal candidates would be able to work a minimum of 10-20 hours per week. We have large, full hookup 30, 50 Amp sites that would be provided for the hosts in exchange for duties performed. We also provide free high-speed wifi, water, and sewer. Additional pay is a possibility depending on demand and hours worked. This is a position that can lead to additional growth within the company.
