JOB DESCRIPTION:
Outlet Park – Tuttle Creek Lake – Manhattan, KS
This position is located at Outlet Park at Tuttle Creek Lake near Manhattan, KS and services multiple day-use areas (no campgrounds) around the lake.
Park Host Duties:
Recruiting two volunteers or volunteer couples to:
- Grounds Maintenance: perform groundskeeping duties, including vegetation management, litter removal, basic care of landscaped beds, trees and shrubs, and fire ring cleanings.
- Facility Upkeep: perform routine maintenance of day-use areas, clean & stock restrooms and picnic shelters, and remove trash.
Volunteer will be provided a campsite in return for 20 hours of service per week. Shaded campsite includes water, sewer, and 50-amp electric hookups (prime fishing access included!). Volunteer will work weekends and holidays, with two consecutive days off mid-week.
