JOB DESCRIPTION:

Prescott National Forest is looking for an energetic, hardworking, fun-loving couple to serve as volunteer hosts at Potato Patch Campground (7,200 ft. in elevation). Duties also include adjacent day use sites on Mingus Mountain. Location is part of the Verde Ranger District near the town of Jerome, Arizona. Previous host experience is helpful but not required as training is provided.

 

Seeking people who love being good stewards of the land, have excellent customer service skills, friendly and patient personalities, ability to perform daily campsite and restroom cleaning, light maintenance, and tracking reservations through recreation.gov. Volunteer hosts must own their own accommodation (RV/Camper/Motorhome) to live on site; tents are not permitted. A host campsite with utilities (electric, sewer, potable water) is provided at no cost to the volunteers.
