Maintenance / Security Host – Music Valley RV Park

Music Valley RV Park is seeking a dependable and friendly Maintenance / Security Host to join our team at one of Kentucky’s most unique campground destinations, located adjacent to the historic Renfro Valley Entertainment Center — “Kentucky’s Country Music Capital.”
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with guests, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Our busiest times are during concerts and special events, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout the season.
Position Overview
This role combines light maintenance, campground operations, guest assistance, and evening security responsibilities. Hours vary depending on campground occupancy and event activity, typically ranging from 15–36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
General campground and site maintenance
Grounds maintenance and property upkeep
Trash pickup and cleanup throughout the property
Bathhouse cleaning and restocking
Assisting guests with locating campsites
Troubleshooting guest concerns and basic campground issues
Enforcing quiet hours and campground policies
General property monitoring and security presence
Assisting during concerts and special events as needed
Compensation & Perks – negotiable
Compensation package may include:
Hourly wage
Full hookup RV site with utilities included for your own camper/RV
OR
On-site studio cabin accommodations available
Opportunities for additional paid work during concerts and special events.
Complimentary or discounted tickets to select Renfro Valley shows. Plus opportunities to work shows if desired.
Flexible scheduling based on campground activity
but also busy periods.
Ideal Candidate
Friendly and professional with good communication skills
Self-motivated and dependable
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
Able to perform light physical labor
Prior campground, security, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
However MUST be comfortable with general maintenance tasks – non negotiable.
Must be comfortable working evenings and weekends during busy event periods. Must pass background check.

Music Valley RV Park is located beside the legendary Renfro Valley Entertainment Center in beautiful Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Guests visit from across the country for concerts, festivals, camping, and special events throughout the season.
