Spend fall in the Rockies! We are recruiting for two campground hosts for Timber Creek Campground on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. Individuals or couples are invited to apply. Learn more about this campground on our website.

The host campsites can accommodate smaller RVs or trailers with no slide-outs. One of the sites is limited to RVs/trailers that are ~30 feet in length, the other site is limited to RVs/trailers that are a maximum of ~25 feet in length. In your application, please include the length of your RV/trailer. If you are towing a vehicle, you may be required to park it in campground overflow parking. Full hookups are available. The closest town to the campground is Grand Lake, CO, which has limited amenities. The next largest town nearby is Granby, CO.

The dates for this position are August 15th through October 4th. We are seeking applicants who are available for the entire timeframe. If you are only able to serve part of this window, we recommend exploring Volunteer.gov for other opportunities that align with your availability.

You must serve a minimum of 32 hours per week, and should anticipate being on-duty for 3-4 days per week.

Duties include, but are not limited to: cleaning out fire pits, removing debris from campsites, encouraging compliance with campground rules, reporting any disturbances to the park’s law enforcement, and following instructions from park staff. Volunteers will be required to work long hours on their feet. Volunteers must be kind, welcoming, and professional with all visitors and staff.

All campground hosts who are selected will be required to:
