Come live in the Highlands of SWVA! We are only 4 miles from Grayson Highlands State Park, Mt Rogers Wilderness Area, The Appalachian Trail, The New River, The VA Creeper Trail!
Seeking a quiet, respectful no drama person/couple to join our small family-run farm and vacation rental business. We have a FHU with Wifi to offer for “your spot” with fenced dog yard (pets welcome) and paid wages over trade!
You would be responsible for cleaning airbnb rentals Thur-Mon or Fri-Tue having 2-3 days off in the middle of the week to explore the area! You would be responsible for cleaning each vacation rental in between clients (TRUE CLEANING, not just a wipe down, we will only accept someone who actually ENJOYS cleaning as a job or interest…we want 5* vacation rental reviews – this is a MUST), and you will manage doing the rental laundry too (we have a laundry room with full setup for streamlined laundry for our rental turns.
Otherwise you will be free to enjoy the gorgeous region and to enjoy our farm life as well. We run a non-profit animal rescue and working farm. It’s home to all sorts of animals – so you must love and enjoy animals to be able to fully appreciate and value the space and farm family!

NO drugs tolerated of any sort
NO outward drinking or excessive drinking permitted
NON-Smoker (you are handling all rental laundry remember) but Vaping is okay
