JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a host opportunity in Haugan, Montana at the Savenac Historic Tree Nursery, with easy access to Interstate 90. The compound is an historic tree nursery now used as a low-key visitor center with self-guided interpretive trails and cabin rentals on site are made available to the public through the Cabin Rental Program. This is a fun position that offers a variety of tasks and a chance to work with other great volunteers that share the duties. Sites are equipped with 30- and 50-amp electrical service with full hookup utilities including propane. Washer/Dryers are available on site.
This position has lots of outdoor work with opportunities to explore western Montana on days off. Volunteers work 4 days per week with 3 days off.
Job description,
Building maintenance.
Covering the Visitor Center schedule, greet guests, provide information and help orientate.
General lawn mowing, weed trimming and raking.
Monitor and stock the cabin rentals and inspect before renters departure.
Equipment operation, riding lawn mowers, weed trimmers and blowers.
Minor equipment maintenance.
