Campground Host

Location: Corona, SD – on Big Stone Lake, NE South Dakota
Compensation: Full-hookup campsite provided in exchange for a minimum of 24 volunteer hours per week

Are you looking for a fun, rewarding, and memorable summer experience? Want to spend your days surrounded by nature and the great outdoors? Join us as a Campground Host at Hartford Beach State Park for the 2026 season!

We’re seeking friendly, dedicated individuals or couples to assist with volunteer duties in our park. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, make a positive impact on visitors’ experiences, and enjoy a peaceful summer immersed in nature on the shores of Big Stone Lake.

Responsibilities include:

– Greeting campers and providing information about park facilities, programs, and local attractions
– Assisting visitors with check-in and general questions
– Helping maintain campsites and campground areas
– Spot-cleaning campground facilities such as restrooms and shelters
– Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to park staff
– Serving as a positive, welcoming presence in the campground

Requirements:
